Weed seeds along the path...


We left the house on foot and just started on the old railway trail when it  began. One policeman arrived, left his car door open, and went into the Greenville Inn.  Two more patrol cars parked off to the side very quietly and surreptitiously until he came out..  Then the original officer drove his car slowly on the path behind us and two officers followed on foot. We let them pass.  About 45 minutes later we saw all three cars leaving the area again together. I'll have to check the Police Blotter on Thursday to see if there's any mention of who they were looking for. I'll be more cautious walking that path alone, but there's nowhere to run in some sections.  Hmmm...maybe I should rethink getting a dog...

Thank goodness for our first responders.
