Journey’s End.

This sculpture on the Mary Wood roundabout Clackmannan by Andy Scott is particularly appropriate in these troubled times.
The male figure is holding a crown, and the female holds a draped circle of twenty-three stars representing solidarity and harmony with the people of the European Union.
They were designed to mark the opening of the new Clackmannanshire Bridge in 2009  but today they serve as a poignant reminder of Brexit and what we are about to loose.
It’s called This Journey’s End.

Check out this video of Andy Scott at work.  His best-known piece are the Kelpies in Falkirk.
