Julefest at the Nordic Museum......

With all that went on in October, my mom was really looking forward to going to Julefest at the National Nordic Museum up in Ballard. My mom's side of the family comes from Sweden and Finland and that heritage has always been apart of family celebrations and such. So today my mom and I escaped for awhile with history, food and fun. 

The main photo is a Seattle twist on the Swedish Horse. The first extra is photos from the museum. The second extra was the music and dance. In the third extra you have an important document when people became citizens, 12 hero's of WW2, Viking security and of course a slice of Kringle. 

A perfect Saturday going into the holiday season... Tomorrow will just be a quiet day at home...
