Shimmering Leaves

A strong wind made rapid ripples across the pond and with a slow shutter I captured the shimmering effect on the water's surface. The trunks and limbs out of shot created dark reflections giving an ominous feeling to the image which I felt amongst the creaking trees blowing in the wind.

Strangely the curving line of leaves remained relatively still and sharp.
