Christmas candle

We have lit the candles that are placed around our living area.

Some of them are scented and some are of the fake led type, that do not look very authentic, but probably safer.

The hurricane lamp in the picture is in a niche in our brick fireplace that is above the log burner.

We are waiting for friends who are coming to us for dinner. They are running late and I fear I shall have eaten all the pre dinner nibbles before they arrive.
