Morning.....

.....a very hazy sky due to the fires in Australia, taken an hour after sunrise, the sun rose at 5.41am

Extreme weather in NZ at present. Out east we've been fortunate to only hear thunder with strong gusty winds while a few drops of rain have fallen compared to further south where roads are closed and bridges are flooded. On the West Coast settlements are cut off due to severe slips and pounding rain and things are not much better at the top of the South Island. They say more of the same tomorrow.

Saturday.....another warm, 26C, windy day.
