Important day.

We voted in the General Election late afternoon. We’d planned to go earlier but the guys doing work on the house worked on despite the fading light. The Polling Station was busy, we were at desk 1. I gather some have had queues outside. And at some Places voters were reportedly being asked for identification.... which isn’t sought under Electoral Law; anecdotal commentary was people were not voting or feeling intimidated. Not good. The Election result will, in my opinion, lead to more change and further debate. And continued mischaracterisation and bias by the media. My sons both reported friends who’ve adopted new positions; so many marginal seats in Scotland. Interesting times. And not the end of anything more than a chapter. The story will continue.

My wife posted some more Christmas cards. We went to the library and Tesco for a few things....
