Centaurea Pulcherrima.....

.....enjoyed finding this beauty while on a stroll.

The pulcherrima is described as being rose-pink with silvery yellow bracts unfurling from large papery buds. It has narrow pinnate greyish green leaves with hairy white undersides. It would make a lovely addition to my 'bee and butterfly' garden.

I've been an absent blipper, simply not enough hours in the day at present and my eyes haven't been the best. I had my last treatment last Wednesday which seems to drain me for the following three days so just starting to get energy levels back today - yay!!

Sunday......spent preparing for Christmas as baking week looms. A mostly fine day, sunny sky this morning and cloud this afternoon, 24C. Rain is expected this coming week and into next weekend which will be a relief as everything is dry, brown and dusty.

Happy Sunday everyone :)
