Great results today.

Tired. A lot on here, and a lot to digest politically. Not much sleep.

I followed the General Eection coverage through until probably 6:30am, both on TV and social media.

I was back up and washed and interested by 8:00am for the arrival of the builders; they made further good progress on the refurbishment work; great result. The weather was on their side. Lots of tea and coffee was doled out.

Last night was a good night politically from my point of view. It gave me plenty to think of today in between making builders refreshments and discussing our job. I’d a few good conversations with folks I know re yesterday’s Election and future implications of the outcome.

Our younger son joined us in the evening for a curry which slow cooked in the afternoon. Good to hear his chat. He went away with some home made soup I made in the morning.
