The Hobblers do the Advent Windows

I was woken by the window cleaners this morning as I'd stayed up last night to watch Rogue Nation!  Martin and his team were frozen so they had cuppas and finished off the last of my mince pies before continuing up the street.  Time to make some new pies!

A few household jobs done and Tony back from the garage with the fixed car (!) and I settled down to a couple of hours of working on my 2019 Blipbook.  I managed to reach August before stopping to get ready for the Hobblers Evening Run.

Our ranks are depleted by flu and injury just now so it was the Magnificent Seven who set off at six o'clock to run to Saltaire via Beckfoot Ford and the canal to view the Advent Windows in the historic village.  It took us 45 minutes to run the 4 or so miles and then we walked up and down the dark streets enjoying the windows.  We chilled off and decided to seek out the Boathouse, but no mulled wine or hot chocolate!!  We had to make do with wine and chips, and very welcome they were too.  The train was delayed so we kept warm by attempting to 'floss' in the shelter on the station.  The young men in the shelter across the tracks looked distinctly embarrassed!

My blip is the gang appreciating the windows created by my music teacher.  I hope we didn't disturb her!
