Whaleback

Our final two guests left this morning (my BIL and A, his daughter) and LH headed out to wet wet golf. I met up with a friend and her gentle Hungarian Wiesler for a dog walk atop The Lawley, a so-called 'whaleback' hill. The glaciers here didn't quite cover the hill tops enough to round them off but did a pretty nice job of creating these aptly named whaleback ridges. Great views of a low lying mist, soggy fields and the distinctive Wrekin in the distance. Berry was better at recall today, possibly because she clocked Bea, the Wiesler, scoffing the proffered treats and decided it was worth coming back for!

More washing and ironing, general sorting out. Just getting ready for the next guest or two ... A quiet night tonight I think.
