A Meandering Life...

Tiny Tuesday 238 :: TT238 :: Non-Twinkling

I'd like to start by thanking all of you who wished me a happy birthday yesterday. For part of my presents I received a wax seal set, brown paper and twine so that I could go green this Christmas when wrapping presents.

No sellotape or paper that twinkles, just stuff that can be recycled. The wax seals are the only fancy bit which I wanted as a tiny personal touch and they look good enough to keep.

In extras is another birthday present, an exact replica of the first tax disc Matilda would have had even down to the date of issue and issuing centre. You might see the stamp is showing 4th August 1970. This is why her first year's tax would have expired at the end of July 1971. It will go into Matilda when the weather is better. I was also given a retro tax disc holder to go with it.
