Going home

It was another grey, miserable day:  it didn't seem to get properly light all day. But it was a bit more cheerful this evening when I met up with other staff from the department for a meal to celebrate the festive season and the end of term.

As I headed home afterwards past the station, there were quite a few people heading down the steps to the station entrance, presumably on their way home as well.
