Gently down the stream

Book day

Another wet day, most of which has been spent in bed and doing quiet things round the house.  The really exciting bit of the day though is that I now have back this lovely book of my dad's, which has spent the last few months at the book bindery.  It's an account of Captain Cooke's early 18th century voyage round the World.  I showed it to you the day I sent it off (here).  Tim Wiltshire promised it would be back by Christmas and it is.  Love that beautiful gold blocking on the spine.  And now at last I shall be able to read it without the whole thing crumbling in my hands.  Another shot in Extras.

The other good thing about today is that, having talked to the doc, I have supplementary pain pills.  An improvement for sure.

Thanks once again for your very kind comments last night and for the stars and hearts.  Much appreciated  xx
