A splashing of cormorants

Seized the glorious day for a sail on the bay today. Not much wind, but a wonderfully refreshing day after all the recent gloom.
The cormorants were busy in large gangs - I understand the acceptable collective nouns for them are a "flight" or a "gulp", but this was definitely a large "splashing". In the extra, a "flight".
