Chaffinch

Looking back in my journal I realise I've got into the habit of visiting the nature reserve after lunch on Sundays, when other times I prefer to go in the morning but as we have a different routine on Sundays it's just something that's evolved.  

The sun went down quickly today, so much so it was light one minute and almost dark the next;  there was a beautiful red sky and reflections on the canal  -   all the ingredients for a nice image but I didn't have a tripod and although I took shots but they were all very noisy.
