Blues

Falkirk made the short trip to Airdrie for Saturday's SPFL League 1 match.

It was a game where Falkirk took a first-half lead despite being outplayed, only to have the referee award Airdrie a penalty kick a few minutes later when the ball struck the arm of a Bairns' defender. It was, in my opinion, a crazy decision but the Diamonds equalised and the first-half ended with the teams on level terms.

Much better performance from Falkirk in the second half, but no more goals were scored. A draw, given our performance in the first 45 minutes, was a fair - if disappointing - result.

There was quite an impressive sky as the match neared its conclusion and I thought that would do for my Blip of the day.
