Consecutive Days of Rays from Gyllyngvase

This morning we parked up at Gyllyngvase beach, where the sky was too good to resist a potential blip, then walked into Falmouth for a bit of window shopping and buying (proper) pasties for lunch. We ate them on the return walk stopping off at Pendennis Point before making our way along Castle Drive then down onto Castle Beach and rock-hopping our way back to Gyllyngvase. What fun, it was like we were kids again! Of course we felt we'd earned the coffee and shared muffin :-)

On the way back to the cottage we stopped off at Swanpool for an ice cream where I entertained the other visitors by tumbling over a half-buried rock but, against the odds, I manged to save the ice cream. And not one of them applauded! Apart from a minor knock on the knee and a shoe full of sand I even escaped a You've Been Framed moment having checked with the audience whether any of them had captured my performance on film, haha!

Fish & Chips on the plan for this evening. Another great day.
