A Better Day...and a Better Image

Today it seems that the worst of yesterday is resolving itself, thank goodness.

We've had some crazy downpours today, with sun breaks. During one of the breaks I went out to the garden and found this lovely cyclamen blooming in a container. I'm practicing with my macro lens and depth-of-field and am quite pleased at my progress.

I have a mexican-y chicken thing in the slow cooker and am otherwise catching up with myself at my desk/computer this afternoon....being that I'm not interested in getting soaked outdoors!
