Pyrford Lock

The River Wey was one of the first rivers to be made navigable with locks and it is still a popular waterway for leisure boating.
Overlooking Pyrford Lock is the busy Anchor Pub. It is a crowded place in the summer, but it was quiet today when we visited with our regular pub lunch friends M and C. They chose the venue (we take it in turns) so they were not aware that I am due to lunch there again on Wednesday with the WI Camera Group! Not to worry, it is a good place to visit. I just hope it will be sunny and I can get a better blip. At least I will be with people who will also be wanting to spend time taking pictures.
