Mike's Choice

Walked into town through quite thick fog, love the soft mysteriousness of it. The first blossom on our almond tree has opened. The sun a hazy ball of light. Then, about midday, it suddenly burst through and the clouds dissipated almost instantaneously. Walking back, just a line of cloud underneath Monsaraz. The white building on the left is the pigsty we hope, eventually, to live in. The one in the middle is the St Sebastian chapel. If we'd had enough rain, the water would be up to the causeway to the left of the chapel, and those rocks would be underwater. But hey, at least everything is green.

(This photo was Mike's choice, so hard to decide sometimes.)

Gratefuls:
- almond branches knobbly with buds
- storks clacking their beaks as they get ready to fill their nests again
- spiderwebs lined with droplets and shining in the sun
