Flower Friday - Arty

I thought I'd try an arty effect for today's Flower Friday blip, with thanks as always to our FF host BikerBear Anni.

I crouched down beneath our climbing Hydrangea which still bears some of last year's wilted flowers, then pointed the camera up to get backlight from the sky, and experimented with using my modified Helios lens for this sort of shot: there was no bokeh to produce the characteristic swirly effect with that lens but I still liked the soft focus effect which it produced.
