Last Rays of Sun

Catching the last rays of sunshine in what had been a glorious afternoon on the Cotswold Hills the Shortie finally, as we had waited a long time, deigned to rock up and give JDO and myself a fly-by. 

Freezing toes and fingers were of no matter at this point as it had all been worthwhile seeing the owls hunt over the fields. 

My extra is a vole capture which was a surprise to me when I got round to looking at the shots on the computer. 

The second is a low flight and third is 'the dive' although at a distance but is pretty difficult to get as it's so fast.
