His shoulders ache all over and his brain is sore

Oh dearie  me .

The morning after the night before. 

Heavens above, it's been a while since I've been this bad. 

Not helped by my kindness in letting the cats in at 5.30 am; and then being jumped on by one of said cats which ripped a lump out my thigh. 

We finally woke at 11 am. 

very groggy.

sat for another hour before we were able to eat breakfast.

Since then, we've toddled albeit slowly and groggily around the allotment; and then had a coffee sitting on the beach wall.  

So many people on the beach.  Not all of them with hangovers.
