Sometimes the little things...

For weeks we have been saying that we need to get out and clear the gutters which here get clogged by leaves and also by moss, which grows apace in the clean air.      

Today, by some miracle, there was not only the motivation but also a brief gap in the endless wind and rain we have been suffering (though it is due back later tonight and into tomorrow).

So the means were found and we got the job done.   Which is worth recording, hence the picture. 

A couple of hours later I was clearing blockages of another sort -  doing Skype interviews from my study about the anti democratic, arrogant nonsense talked by the current Secretary of State for Scotland in his BBC interview this morning.
