Caught

My hair appointment meant I was unable to sit out the downpour in the car and so I was inevitably caught in the cloudburst; I was so wet on arrival that they offered to use a hairdryer to dry me out! The river was the highest I've ever seen it and walking over the bridge I was struck by the reflections on the pavement - got to find a little joy!!

Berry and I had a good walk in the woods this morning and then I actually managed a bit of sewing whilst she was having a bit of downtime. It's so reminiscent of having a small person; this time round, though, I'm sitting doing my own thing instead of catching up on jobs!

Off out to see Star Wars tonight; might have to take the amphibious vehicle though (if only!).
