More River Reflections

Wet, windy and wild – another ghastly day.  We all slept late.  It is on days like this that I am glad BB is not playing rugby at the moment.  Mind you, I did find a message to say all rugby was cancelled today, so I am sure there were many relieved boys and parents.  BB got his cello out and did some practice.  I think someone has replaced my son!

Later BB and TT headed into town to buy some football boots and I followed them a bit later to buy a birthday present.  I was lucky with the weather, but the rain was coming on again as I was nearing home and I was walking straight into it.

BB was picked up and went off to the cinema with a friend, and is then going for a sleepover.  I found some leftovers in the fridge and cobbled some lunch together for TT and I.  Later, when the rain had gone off, we went for a walk by the river, then the supermarket.  We were glad to get home.  TT cooked and we had a lazy evening catching up with a Spiral box set.

A different view of the river, just over the bridge that I blipped yesterday.
