Gold and silver

A fine day here today, just the day for a gander around the grounds of Haddo House.

The main photograph shows the fine gilding on the large iron gates at the entrance to the deer park. Sadly there are now no deer in the park other than the odd wild roe deer.

There are however some fine trees to be seen including a magnificent silver birch that forms my extra for today.
