Life's Little Moments

Derelict...

I first photographed this old abandoned garage sitting in the middle of a farm field back on December 30 with the idea that I would try to photograph it again as seasons/conditions change.  Yesterday's light dusting of snow seemed like a good opportunity to revisit this scene.  There are probably a bunch of things I could have done better, starting with not shooting it at mid-day.  However, part of Blip, for me, is a record of my growth as a photographer.  So, perhaps in a few years I will look back on this and think "you've gotten better" ... or not.

A version in mono in Extra.

Anyway, thanks to Marlieske for hosting the Derelict Sunday challenge and giving me something different to work on.  Hubs, who initially spotted this, has shown me several other interesting and decrepit things for me to photograph in the future.

Hubs and I went to the gym today.  I decided to just go a mile on the treadmill today and spend the rest of my time working on weights.

Thanks for sending my little sparrow in the snow to the Pops page!
