Kettle's Yard

We visited this place today, Kettle's Yard.  It's in Cambridge, just off the north end of Bridge Street, and it's a wonderful place to wander.

Jim Ede loved art, and in the early 1950s he merged three old cottages to make a home in which he and his wife installed all sorts of art.  It would be a great place to live, but he donated it to the University and it's available for the public to view, free (but donations are accepted).

The clothes peg was to reclaim my camera bag.  Bags are not allowed in the house (museum) probably because of the risk they pose to the ornaments in the small rooms.
