Border Tails

By Swannie

Silly Saturday, Burns Night.

Tonight is Burns night in Scotland where we celebrate the birth of our national poet, Robert Burns (he was born in 1759 and died at the young age of thirty seven. I’m not over fond of the traditional haggis, needs, and tatties, but found an easy to prepare alternative in Aldi - a haggis pizza!

Two of the three amigos were very interested in the haggis, but Trigger was fascinated by the contents of my glass. Whisky is the traditional drink at a Burns supper, but much to Trigger’s disappointment, I’m working first thing tomorrow so it’s sugar free Irn Bru, I’m afraid!
