Life through the lens...

Thursday walk.

Good weather for our walk, and a great turnout. 26 on the walk and then 5 joined us for lunch at the pub.
Only 4.5 miles.
Quite muddy in places, and a couple of awkward stiles, but fortunately no one fell, as it was slippery coming down a steep cobbled footpath. Good job there was a hand rail.
My photo shows part of our group walking back along the Leeds Liverpool Canal.
I like the reflections of the bridge.

We had a lovely lunch at the Busfeild Arms in East Morton, Nr Keighley.
Must congratulate the staff for the excellent service. Drinks brought straightaway, and then of course a slight wait to prepare the main courses. The landlady apologised for this in advance. Then all the food was served at the same time. Such a variety too.
We both had the fish pie which was excellent. Nice individual dishes of vegetables. Red cabbage, cauliflower, carrots, broccoli.
If we are ever in the area again will certainly call in.

The pub is named after the local Busfeild family who lived in the area in the
19th century, hence the apparent misspelling of the name.
