Light on the Hill

Drove over to Telheiro to meet some Brazilians that have moved there (see Carla, Wellington and Malu, plus others in extra). Went past our castle on the way back, all lit up, in changing colours, for the Festa, but partially obscured by fog and drizzle. We've kept mostly out of it so far, just not the same without Padre Luís - but will have to join in tomorrow and the next day.

Gratefuls:
- Carla's orange cake, hot from the oven, and so Brazilian in its ring tin
- dabs of sunshine, hopefully enough to charge the batteries
- getting going on a writing project

And may a light still be on for us whenever we decide again that uniting is better than dividing.
