Waffle - waffle - waffle

Cleaned-up from yesterday's bike trip. The panniers were dry enough to vacuum clean, though our cycle-shoes were still damp and needed stuffing with newspaper.

It's Chandeleur so my wife decided it was time for Gaufre (waffle) rather than crêpes.Today's back-blip is a close up of our cast-iron waffle iron. My wife cleaned this one up over several weeks removing the rust and while it's a bit heavy it makes good waffles...!
