Silver lining

One of the great side effects, so to speak, of an illness in the family is that far flung members see each other more often. LH and his sister saw my MIL this afternoon and the positive news is that she should be home on Monday. Afterwards siblings plus other halves had the chance for an evening together; I don't remember the last time we managed.
