The Pointing Lady

See original drawing by Leonardo da Vinci. This is my own attempt, in graphite rather than black chalk. I never knew you could get natural black chalk until we went to the exhibition yesterday!

This morning we had a lovely lazy start to the day, and the time was spent engaged in various creative pursuits, including this.

This afternoon me and Dad went to get the tires changed on the little Ford Fiesta, and do various bits of shopping. We called in on melamny, who lives opposite the tire place, but she wasn't in. And for once, we bought everything on the list, nothing extra, and nothing forgotten!

The storm has hit this evening. Our house feels (mostly, apart from the howling draughts coming through the front letterbox) wonderfully cosy. Snug as a bug in a rug, as they say. Stay warm and safe everyone!
