Many Kisses

Slept late as I felt weary.  The wind was howling all through the night - and all day.  We had rain too.  ( snow was forecast but it never came )  I decided to stay indoors - with the heating on.  Did some washing and ironing and watched TV.

The Tiny Tuesday challenge today is LOVE - chosen because its Valentines Day on Friday.  The host mindful_life says ...... " it can be something you love or cherish, or something that makes you feel the warmth that love brings".  I have chosen to blip part of a postcard I received in May 1995 from my late husband Douglas.  He sent it from Madrid - he was there to take part in the Madrid marathon.  The front of the card is covered in red lips and the wording muchos besos - which means many kisses.  On the back of the card Douglas has written " I don't usually send you a card, but ............. ".  So as you can tell this card is special to me as he never did sent postcards when he went abroad to take part in running events.  And this one is really romantic. Since I received it it has remained pinned to the cork notice board in the kitchen so I see it every day.
