Rainbow Cake

How lovely to see slices of rainbow cake on sale in the local garden centre cafe. I had a pleasant visit there this morning with my friend Clare. Lots of beautiful spring and summer plants. I was particularly tempted by the hellebores but resisted as not sure where I'd put them and they were very expensive. Anyone who grows them...are they hardy?

This evening I am going to a talk about the archaeological finds that have been made whilst sections of the new A14 has been excavated and built.
