this is a unique piece - of art created for me - by a childhood friend and artist - made entirely out of - magazine clippings, actually it’s words - cut out of magazines - words in different shapes, sizes, colors - shades and fonts - then pieced and put together - to form this perfect - teacup picture - one could spend hours - reading what all the - words say, the message - behind the picture - if there’s anything hidden there

it takes him hours to find - all the missing words - then countless hours more - to fit them all together - into a meaningful picture - i remember when we were kids - how he’d collect magazines - and newspapers, stacking them - carefully together as though they - held the riches of the world - i always wondered - now i know - the treasures he was tucking away - that would eventually make it..
