A diffuse blip

It has been a several sets of waterproofs day here, the porch has dripped all day with sodden outerwear!   Thankfully it has cleared up late afternoon. 

I am relying on a blip taken by my camera at 2.44 this morning, whilst I was asleep.  A diffuse Aurora casting warm colours on the dark sky.  Earlier in the evening and further north the Aurora was displaying beautifully but we had too much cloud.  The reflected light on the clouds is from a dredger working its way across our view all night and day. 

Thank you all for your comments and gifts yesterday.   My ego is not so bruised today and I have been having a gentle domestic day.
