The photographic society had an evening about macro photography tonight.  First a talk about techniques, then a practical session.

We don't often have practical evenings, but the attendance was good this evening and lots of people had a go at photographing some of the items the lecturer had brought along.  The difficulty with this sort of evening is the number of people trying to take photographs of the same objects - there is a tendency to end up tripping over each other.  However, I had a hurried attempt at photographing one subject, with a quick focus stack to get focus from front to back.  Considering the speed at which it was done, it's not too bad.  Perhaps not the most beautiful subject though.

I have now completed back-blipping the last few days.
