A Trio Of Firsts

Lovely to see the sun today. As Ollie dog and I left the house for our morning walk a pair of fighting male chaffinches nearly bumped into us. They've been singing incessantly, the breeding season is really hotting up. 

I shot my first green shieldbug of 2020, it's still sporting its bronze winter livery. A comma butterfly and a non bumble bee were two other firsts. I've included the dear little pied wagtail as the image shows the beautiful blue sky.
