Silver shimmer

Monday is our day off! We could have had  a lie in but that's not our style. We were up at the usual time but I did bring hubby a cup of tea in bed. I spoil him don't I ? We had to shop for groceries - not stockpiling - mostly fresh fruit and vegetables and things we buy every week. There were no signs of panic buying among today's shoppers but some shelves were pretty bare. As it was a lovely sunny morning I persuaded hubby it would be nice to go for a walk on the Headland. I had thrown some reading material in the car before we left the house so he could sit and read while I wandered but he came with me. There was a lovely shimmery silver light on the water. There were several fishermen on the end of the Pilot Pier enjoying the calm and sunny day. St Hilda's church from my blip yesterday is just to the left of this scene. Had it been  a little later we would have had fish and chips from the excellent chippy but it was too early. We are having a chilled out afternoon drinking tea and just pottering.
