Indoor Flowers

It may feel spring-like outside but these things are relative. There is still a lot of snow around, the lakes are still frozen, and the average temperature is still a bit below freezing, so I think it will be a good while before even the toughest flowers appear. So like many people in this part of the world we buy flowers for indoors. They come into the house as buds and then generate optimism by opening out into lovely spring flowers.
Or perhaps I should go out and check. I photographed Daphne mezereum, the toughest of the flowers, in late March, 4 years ago.
As usual just now, I posted a backblip from my ski trip last week.
