Into the garden

A friend said to me that at the end of this crisis we older people (assuming we are still alive) will have the best decorated houses and gardens ever as we take to DIY and gardening.
 
Well, I made a start with the gardening though M has already been out there for the past couple of weeks. How much I can do with a new hip and new knee remains to be seen.  Suspect its going to be making lots of lists with jobs that need to be done and handing it over to M (only joking…)
 
Today I heard an historian on the radio say future generations will refer to this period as BC –Before Coronavirus and AC- After Coronavirus because of the way it is going to reshape the way we communicate, work and live our lives.
 
The closing of cafes, pubs and restaurants tonight were expected but still it all seems so surreal.
 
Is this the world Boris had in mind when he campaigned so vigorously for to become Prime Minister? 
It’s a poisoned chalice never envisaged in his wildest nightmares.
