Chaffinch

With my longest telephoto lens and a doubler I was able to get up nice and close to this chaffinch which was hanging around the bird feeder. I quite liked the full face-on shot for impact but have to adit that the profile gives you a much better image of the plumage. 

I guess with lockdown we may be seeing a lot more of our garden birds over the coming weeks.
