Yesterday evening/night I had a bad feeling my desktop should end up like this. Soft power off didn't work.  I had to do it the hard way.  But it survived and I have been able to use it today.  When I took the blip of these windows, I got a reminder to check my backup plan.  The log files looked alright.  And soon I will try to power it down for today….
