A two hour stroll

I followed the same route as yesterday but on foot today instead of cycling. My wife, who doesn't own a bike, wanted to take part in a lengthy walk. We covered 3.5 miles at a leisurely pace and stopped off for a coffee (flask) and a ginger biscuit. I identified 23 birds today, one of which was a new one for the year (Yellow Hammer). I took a series of photos at various places on our walk. There were dandelions everywhere at the moment with some forming quite large yellow carpets. The Pottery shop looked open but maybe they were making pottery but not open to the public. The mail box is still being emptied as far as I know. The walk took us down a road that is now shut to all but people accessing their homes as a bypass cut it in half making two dead ends.

We met about a dozen and a half people in the 2 hours so very quiet. Some cyclists, a few dog walkers and the odd runner. All kept their distance and just nodded good day.
