Swan on the pond

After my supermarket shop this morning I headed along the road to the Heritage Park for my daily time of exercise. It was very chilly .... definitely a gloves on day.

Love is most certainly in the air as all the geese and ducks are now swimming around in pairs. Quite amazing that the resident pair of swans have not yet managed to chase away the three visitors. The visiting juvenile swan will have to find a mate sometime but it would be nice if the other pair were allowed to stay.

The blip is one of the original bad tempered pair but he/she was too busy this morning to bother. I'm sure it's the female .... she looks just like one of the graceful swans from the ballet.

I have to confess that at one point today I didn't know what day it was .... must be getting old!
