Past and present

My current sewing project and the lovely little mat made as a present by a friend.

It's been wonderful to pick up a needle, even if this one little 'leaf' is all I've done for at least a month.

LH was exhausted today and yesterday, just worn out by various things I think. So today he has simply rested and seems so much the better for it.

Berry and I have had our own relaxing day doing and researching her training. I think today LH and I gave up trying to spin plates and we're feeling better for it.

Beautiful weather; the temperature has risen and I can see nascent leaves growing apace. We are lucky to be in This Situation at this particular time of year.
